3RD GRADUATION CEREMONY




THIRD SYDP GRADUATION CEREMONY
YET ANOTHER HISTORICAL EVENT

On Sunday 23rd Nov.2008, Bilal Muslim Mission Moshi Branch
celebrated the 3rd graduation ceremony of Shia Youth Development
Project SYDP. This project helps African Shias from various parts of
East Africa to study Shiaism and are also trained vocationaly in
various fields like Carpentry, Electrician, Plumbing, Electronics,
Welding, Mechanic and Assistant Pharmacy.

This project helps African Shias to gain religious knowledge and vocational skils so they can survive and uplift themselves and their families.


HIGHLIGHTS OF THE THIRD GRADUATION CEREMONY
NOVEMBER 2008


This year 13 African Shias graduated and by grace of Allah (swt) most of them were employed in Tanzania and Dubai. The picture shows group photo of graduates with Bilal Moshi branch chairman

The Project
SYDP is a novel concept and was first introduced in Bilal Muslim Mission-Moshi branch in December 2004. The idea is to raise the Socio Economic status of the African Shia family through educating the youth and giving them vocational technical skills, side by side with the standard religious training. More»
