SYDP Launches its website
We are glad to announce that we now have our own website, www.bilalmoshi.com
Details of the students and activities can all be viewed there. We appreciate the services of Br. Muhammad Akber Shaban our webmaster and Br.Shiraz Kassam Kermali for his immense support.

Husaynia opening at SYDP Complex
The Tanga Jamaat resident Aalim who came to Moshi for Muharram Majalis, Hujjatul Islam Sayyid Raza Hussein, paid an official visit to SYDP as well as Bilal Muslim Mission Center. He addressed the students and quizzed them as well. He was impressed with their level of knowledge especially in Fiqh and Aqaid.
The Mawlana also graced the opening of the Prayer room /Husaynia on the 12th Night of Muharram 1427 AH.


SYDP students donate Blood on Ashura
On the 12th Day of Muharram, the Moshi Jamaat dispensary, the Jaffery Charitable Medical Services, arranged a blood donation program.22 SYDP students came forward voluntarily and gave their blood in the name of Imam Husayn (AS). The blood was donated to the Regional Consultant Hospital – The Kilimanjaro Christian Medical College hospital - whose blood bank had run dry and was in a crisis.

The Project
SYDP is a novel concept and was first introduced in Bilal Muslim Mission-Moshi branch in December 2004. The idea is to raise the Socio Economic status of the African Shia family through educating the youth and giving them vocational technical skills, side by side with the standard religious training. More»
