* A number of scholarships are on offer for technical courses to Shia Ithna-Asheri students from all over East Africa.. These scholarships are largely financed by private donors, and cover tuition fees as well as maintenance for the students throughout the duration of the course.
* Candidates are eligible to apply for a scholarships if:
- They are Shia Ithna-Asheri Muslims
- They have completed either Standards VII or Form IV/ VI
- They can show that for financial reasons they cannot obtain higher education.
* All candidates must have a command of English adequate for receiving all tuition and for taking all exams in English.
* There is considerable competition for these scholarships. This means that applicants must have a good academic performance, financial need, and a strong social and religious commitment.
* Please note that applicants will not be considered without photocopies (not originals) of all school results and transcripts, and at least two reference letters.
